She's not sure if he's trying to be facetious (some people were like that, weren't they) or if the suggestion is genuine.

[ Though, admittedly, it's kind of weird but not as weird as it could be. The handy thing about coming from a world where pan-dimensional travel is possible is that most people have a pretty open mind when it comes to what is and isn't feasible. ]
